My name is Cindy Verhoeven, and I am a first-generation EMDR therapist, trained in the Netherlands since 2008. With over a decade of experience, I specialize in helping clients overcome trauma, anxiety, and various forms of emotional distress.
I also worked as an addiction counselor for 11 years, treating individuals facing alcohol and drug dependence, as well as binge eating disorders.
In addition to EMDR, I incorporate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, and Inner Child therapy into my practice. This approach allows for a comprehensive therapeutic experience tailored to the unique needs of each client, addressing both immediate symptoms and underlying issues.
